Redemption Breaking is a music project by independent Recording Artist and Songwriter Nate Walker.  The “Redemption Breaking” name is a tribute to Nate’s love of surfing and the cold ocean waves that renew his soul.   Based in San Mateo,  Nate is an active member of the local songwriting community and has won multiple awards for his work.   Nate’s live performances combine his dynamic singing voice and unique guitar playing styles to tell honest and meaningful stories.  His songs range from high energy acoustic rock to gentle melodies and love songs.  The most recent Redemption Breaking release titled “Connect” is available at redemptionbreaking.bandcamp.com as well as Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube music and many other streaming services.

Female Band a Leader Suzanne Cortez Regrouped her Salsa  Orquesta Adelante in 2009. 

She was in one.of the first All women’s  bands in the SF Bay Area  called Orquesta Sabrosita and Chevere.

Susana paved the way for many women to play Latin music in the Bay Area.

Her group Adelante can play anything from Salsa, Latin Rock, Latin Jazz , Oldies, Reggae to R&B etc. Her bands have backed up  (Richard bean -Malo  (author of Suavecito ) and members of santana such as Bill Ortiz, and  original member of Santana  Latin rock hall of famer Michael Carabello. Santana Grammy award winner Julius Melendez & Jose Chepito Area Original Santana.

Drini & the Bad Kats Band is a local Bay Area band that brings dynamic interpretations of R&B Soul, Blues, Swampy Funk and Classic Rock to their audiences. Nothing about this band is typical, including the songs they cover and the talent they present to their audiences since 2021. 

When Drini, Ric, Ed, John & Brandon met up at a small studio in Redwood City in 2021, it was clear that palpable energy was present. The magic of the music spoke to all of them and the potential was recognized. Drini & the Bad Kats Band was born, and got to work crafting their sound; their interpretations; their magic.

Versatile Allstar Trio From San Francisco that plays a variety of Latin music in Spanish in English (Salsa, Bachata, Cha-Cha, Latin rock, etc.) Motown/R&B, Reggae, Reggaeton, and Classic rock

The group is led by long time San Francisco resident, Charlie Barrera, who graduated from Music & Arts institute of San Francisco Center

The band plays covers and original arrangements by Charlie Barrera (Piano and Vocalist) and lead singer, Ramon Garcia, who, doubles on congas and flute. The bass complements the trio; most of the time featuring Grammy award winner bassist David Pinto.

Georgia Jackson, better known as "Georgia Blues", has been immersed in the blues since the age of five. Taking inspiration from B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Luther Allison and Harmonica Legends Little Walter and James Cotton.

Georgia is bringing her unique blend of soul, funk and blues to Freewheel, so prepare yourself for a non-stop, high energy, finger-popping party!

Marcus Cooper is a singer/songwriter from New England with a unique style of folk, rock, and bluegrass. He began performing while pursuing his music degree in Vermont. Since then, Marcus has played in venues throughout the east coast and plays regularly in the Bay Area.

Dadbod is a four-piece rock band from Redwood City that plays classic/modern/alternative rock cover songs as well as their own original songs, with enough original material to produce two full-length albums. The members of the band include Peter Black (guitars, vocals), Aaron Sears (guitars, vocals), Tobi Wittkop (bass guitar), and JT Spreer (drums). Musical influences stem from all types of rock music as well as funk, bossa nova, folk, and reggae. When you see Dadbod live be prepared to sing along to your favorite rock songs and tap your feet to your new favorite Dadbod songs!

Azul Latino is a Latin Rock band with musical roots deep in Central and South American rock. Band leader Ernesto Nolasco Lead Guitar player formed Azul Latino in 2018, and quickly found talented members with a passion for Rock En Español . The band consists of lead vocalist Maria Mojica, drummer Frank Cortez, bassist/vocalist Andrew Bohn, congas Arturo Carrillo, keyboard Gladys Lim, Percussion/bass Susan Cortez. Performing songs from Mana, Juanes, Enanitos Verdes and many more, Azul Latino is a Bay Area band with versatility to play Latin infused rock with enough feel and passion to make the whole venue into a dance floor. 

Wild Child is a Bay Area band, formed out of an unstoppable passion to
jam and entertain people, delights fans all over the Bay Area and CA!
 Each member is a pro who plays in at least one other band, so this is
about having a blast together!  When asked "what type of music do you
play?", the answer is often "YES".  That's right we play across genres
because A) we love all types of music like our fans, B) we can!  With
a whole variety of musical backgrounds, Fred, Michelle, John, Alberto
and Alex keep it Wild Child fresh!

DJ Cilla is an open format female DJ out of the Bay Area. Bringing people together through music is something she enjoys most. Her wide selection of music and her ability to read the crowd allows her to take others through a musical journey that is unforgettable. The reggae band that will be joining her is called Rafa Bio: We are a large “family band“ that performs authentic reggae music ranging from Bob Marley to Lucky Dube. The name Rafa derives from the Hebrew word for healing, based on our belief in the transformative power of music. Rick grew up listening to music during the 80s and 90s, but didn't start playing until much later. He's a product of Bay Area musical instruction, taking guitar lessons and then voice lessons from local instructors and earning his chops in open mics and cover bands. Some artists who captivated him early on were Jimi Hendrix, Yusuf/Cat Stevens, R.E.M., and the Barenaked Ladies.

Rick started out with the electric guitar before embracing the acoustic guitar and singing. After seeing live looping for the first time at a KT Tunstall concert, the idea of being able to play both lead and rhythm as a solo artist set him on what would eventually become his path as a performer.

A large part of Rick's live show is something called "Live Looping". This is a technique that utilizies on-stage pedals to record the live performance and re-play it in real time. When layering these recordings with various guitar and vocal effects, it lets Rick emulate the drummer, bass player, and background vocals to gives the music a true full-band feel.

Anton Estaniel (cello and drums) with Elyse Weakley (keyboard and voice) makeup the cross genre duo Steel&Hammers. Weakley and Estaniel, both classically trained, have taken part in a wide array of musical projects including Middle Eastern and Latin music and currently work together in the Hurd Ensemble, recently featured at the Kennedy Center, and Redwood Tango Ensemblepresenting contemporary tango music. Their recording projects include collaborations with acclaimed rapper MC Squadda B and Grammy award-winning composer Mason Bates.

JimBo Trout has been entertaining music fans in the Bay Area and beyond for over 35 years. His music is a good-time gumbo of blues, honky-tonk country, bluegrass, western-swing, ragtime, rock+roll and more. Whether performing solo or with his band, JimBo's energetic and entertaining performances are enjoyed by young and old alike.  JimBo has performed at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass (twice) and most major clubs in the Bay Area. He has opened club dates for Dr. John, Johnny Winter, David Bromberg, Carolina. Chocolate Drops, The Squirrel Nut Zippers, Riders in the Sky and too many to list!

Prodigious 17 year old singer/songwriter Ryann Barnes began crafting songs at age eight. She applies the same carefree stream of consciousness techniques when she writes now. “The guitar comforts my imagination, while the piano inspires it.” Striking the right chord helps her to reach the "secret garden" she fantasizes about. There are many references to classic stories and tales throughout her work as well as her own personal observations about teenage life. Her music plays with imaginative lyricism and acoustic roots set to a youthful, punching production, with echoes to her personal childhood nostalgia. She draws inspiration from varied musical sources like Judy Garland, Joni Mitchell, Paul McCartney, and the 1951 animated classic, Alice In Wonderland. “I look at the world like it is a wonderland, and see faces in the trees.”

Autocorrect is a 7 person band from the San Francisco bay area that plays party music from every decade to get you dancing, with a wide range of high-energy, upbeat music, stringing together hits from rock, pop, R&B, and hip hop.   Powerful vocals from Janel Tan will bring through hits from the likes of Ariana Grande, Whitney Houston, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Tina Turner, to name a few, partnered up with hype guys Luke Priebe and Miggy Maldonado and their complement of rap hits from Snoop Dogg, Warren G, Eminem, and House of Pain.  Autocorrect brings a versatile collection of instrumentalists to weave you in and out of genres, with Steve Giorgi on the drums, Jenn Lam on the bass, and two headed guitar attack with guitarists Andrew Rezvani and Kevin McCarthy.  We'll make it so that when you say "Damn you, Autocorrect" it's a good thing.

Barebottle Brewing Company was co-founded by Lester Koga, Michael Seitz, and Ben Sterling, three friends and former classmates at Cornell Business School in Ithaca, NY. After moving from Ithaca to the Bay Area in 2007, the three began homebrewing, became certified beer judges, and began winning medals at homebrewing competitions. Barebottle brews innovative beers inspired by the San Francisco Bay Area using local ingredients wherever possible, and partners with local homebrewing groups to develop new beers using a competitive method.
